Установка Opatch

To install Patchsets on Siebel Tools

1 Unzip all the files provided in the Patchset to a directory.

All *.jar files will be created in this folder, including snic.bat, siebel.ini, snic.jar and snic.sh.

2 Log into the command line CMD:

a Set the JAVA_HOME environment variables (such as c:\set JAVA_HOME=C:\Program Files\Java\jre6).

b Launch the snic.bat file (such as c:\snic.bat).

c Follow the prompts to create an installation image and specify the location, such as c:\siebel_patch_image. (Note: $Win_Unicode_Base is c:\siebel_patch_image in this example.)

d Select Siebel Tools. An image is created successfully in the c:\siebel_patch_image folder.

3 Navigate to C:\siebel_patch_image and verify that the Client folder was created. The Client folder contains the Siebel_Tools folder.

4 Navigate to $Win_Unicode_Base\Windows\Client\Siebel_Tools.

5 Set ORACLE_HOME=c:\sia81\Tools_1<The base build installed location> in the command line.

6 Change the directory to <The base build installed location>(C:\sia81\Tools_1\OPatch).

7 Run the opatch lsinventory -detail command from C:\sia81\Tools_1\OPatch.

You will get Oracle Home, OUI/OPatch version, OUI location, Installed Top-level Products and location, Installed Top-level Products and Installed Products component names and versions.

8 Run opatch to apply the patch.

NOTE: The following command and verification message use 0101001 as an example. The command that you enter and the verification message that displays will depend on the Patchset release you are implementing.

C:\sia81\Tools_1\OPatch>opatch apply C:\siebel_patch_image\8.1.1.11.qf0101001\Windows\Client\Siebel_Tools for Tools

9 To verify that the Patchset was successfully applied, run the opatch lsinventory -detail command from C:\sia81\Tools_1\OPatch.

To install Patchsets for Siebel Mobile Web Client

1 Unzip all the files provided in the Patchset to a directory.

All *.jar files will be created in this folder, including snic.bat, siebel.ini, snic.jar and snic.sh.

a Set the JAVA_HOME environment variables (such as c:\set JAVA_HOME=C:\Program Files\Java\jre6).

b Launch the snic.bat file (such as c:\snic.bat).

c Follow the prompts to create an installation image and specify the location, such as c:\siebel_patch_image. (Note: $Win_Unicode_Base is c:\siebel_patch_image in this example.)

d Select Siebel Mobile Web Client.

An image is created successfully in the c:\siebel_patch_image folder.

3 Navigate to C:\siebel_patch_image and verify that the Client folder was created. The Client folder contains the Siebel_Web_Client folder.

4 Navigate to $Win_Unicode_Base\Windows\Client\Siebel_Web_Client.

5 Set ORACLE_HOME=c:\sia81\Client_1.

6 Change the directory to <The base build installed location>(C:\sia81\8.1\Client_1\OPatch).

7 Run the opatch lsinventory -detail command from C:\sia81\Client_1\OPatch.

You will get the Oracle Home, OUI/OPatch version, OUI location, Installed Top-level Products and location, Installed Top-level Products and Installed Products component names and versions.

8 Navigate to the location where the patch was downloaded, such as C:\Siebel_Patch_Image\8.1.1.11.qf0101001\Windows\Client\Siebel_Web_Client\Opatch.

NOTE: The preceding navigation path uses 0101001 as an example. Adjust the navigation path based on the Patchset release you are implementing.

9 Modify the opatch.bat file as follows and save the file.

10 Run opatch to apply the patch.

C:\sia81\Client_1\Opatch>Opatch apply C:\Siebel_Patch_Image\8.1.1.11.qf0101001\Windows\Client\Siebel_Web_Client

11 To verify that the Patchset was successfully applied, run the opatch lsinventory -detail command from C:\sia81\Client_1\OPatch.

Uninstallation Instructions

Use the following procedures to uninstall Patchsets.

To uninstall Patchsets on Siebel Enterprise Server and Siebel eBusiness Application Web Server Extension n Run set ORACLE_HOME, navigate to the OPatch location, and run opatch rollback -id 21111100 (The ID number is the folder name of the patch build directory.)

To uninstall Patchsets on Siebel Tools and Siebel Mobile Web Client n Run set ORACLE_HOME, navigate to the OPatch location, and run opatch rollback -id 21111100 (The ID number is the folder name of the patch build directory.)
